Railtex welcomes international audience as visitor registration officially opens
Professionals from across the rail industry are being urged to secure their place at Railtex 2019, the 14th international exhibition of railway equipment, systems and services, as visitor registration officially opens.
Starting this month (February 2019), visitors will be able to confirm their attendance online, for the UK’s leading rail industry expo, which will take place between 14th -16th May at Birmingham’s NEC.

Digital Rail to take centre stage at Railtex 2019
The term ‘Digital Rail’ is one which brings much discussion around the industry, as Network Rail seeks to create more capacity on an increasingly crowded network by modernising systems and adopting new technologies and innovations to lead the industry into the digital age. Digital Rail will be placed under the microscope at Railtex 2019, the UK’s leading exhibition of railway products and services, as industry leaders and experts come together to discuss and explore the challenges and opportunities that this transformation can bring.

Railtex 2017 attracts nearly 10,000 industry specialists
The thirteenth Railtex, which took place successfully at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 9 to 11 May, attracted 9,755 attendees. This total comprised 7,052 visiting rail industry managers, engineers and buyers, with a further 2,703 professionals present as members of exhibiting companies. Over 13% of our visitors were non-UK nationals from 50 different countries, whilst almost 100 exhibiting companies came from 23 countries outside of the UK reflecting strong interest both in opportunities in the UK rail market and in the capabilities of the country’s supply sector.
