12th edition of Railtex delivers the strongest ever UK rail event
The biggest Railtex for over 10 years welcomed 10,151 railway industry professionals over three days at the NEC, Birmingham, last week. 468 of the rail industry’s leading suppliers displayed the latest railway technology, equipment and innovations, during what was regarded as the most effective Railtex for years.

RAIL SUPPLY GROUP ADDS ITS SUPPORT TO RAILTEX
The Rail Supply Group (RSG) is the latest organisation to become a Show Partner for Railtex ‘15, with plans to play an active role at the event.

Formed in 2014 to bring government and the rail industry together to address the challenges and opportunities facing the UK supply chain at home or abroad, the RSG will deliver two presentations at Railtex as well as taking advantage of the presence of so many of the key participants in this market to host meetings and engage with company representatives.

RAILTEX TRACK DISPLAY SPONSOR TATA STEEL TO PRESENT LATEST PRODUCTS
The Official Track Sponsor at Railtex ’15 will be Tata Steel. The company is again providing and installing sections of its own track in the exhibition hall to form the popular feature known as The Track. As well as showcasing Tata Steel’s own products, this will provide exhibitors with a unique opportunity to display their innovations in an authentic railway setting. Exhibiting on The Track this year will be cable trough systems suppliers BCM GRC, safety barrier manufacturer Innovative Railway Safety, Rosehill Rail, featuring components for level crossings, and power supplies specialist Schneider Electric.

Taking place on Wednesday 13 May, this prestigious dinner will celebrate achievements and successes by Railtex 2015 exhibitors during an evening of great food, live entertainment and valuable networking opportunities.

First Industry Speakers Announced for Railtex 2015
Leading industry figures will be providing insights into prospects and opportunities for the UK rail sector during a comprehensive programme of events at Railtex 2015.
The Knowledge Hub will be one of two areas at the show where seminars and keynote speeches will take place. Here, the first speakers are already confirmed, pointing to the high level of presentations that Railtex visitors and participants can expect.

STRONG DEMAND FOR RAILTEX 2015
There has been exceptionally strong demand for stand space at next year’s Railtex 2015 exhibition of railway technology and services. By mid-August most of the stands available in the initial Phase 1 area of the show had been sold, with more than 140 companies confirming their intention to participate. Further space is now being released in response to continuing demand from companies wishing to be part of the event.

NEC TO HOST RAILTEX 2015
The venue and dates for Railtex 2015 are now confirmed – the show will take place from 12 to 14 May next year at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.

RAILTEX VISITOR NUMBERS RISE BY 19%
Significant increase in visitor numbers at the biggest Railtex since 2007. A total of 8,202 rail industry professionals visited Railtex 2013 – an increase of 19% on the figure for 2011. Of these, around 63% were directors, senior managers and those with purchasing or decision-making responsibilities, highlighting the quality of attendees.
