The first ever Railtex Awards Dinner is the event that everyone in the rail industry will be talking about in 2013. The Railtex Awards have been designed to recognise excellence within the organisations that exhibit at Railtex. They were presented by Phil Tufnell and Garry Richardson at a prestigious dinner on 1st May 2013 from 18:00 – 23:00 at The Copthorne Tara Hotel, London – less than a mile from Earls Court.
The event offered organisations an opportunity to celebrate with their teams and VIP guests and brought together various sectors of the business to enjoy a fantastic three course dinner, live entertainment and of course invaluable networking.

The Presenters
Phil Tufnell, ex International cricketer affectionately known as ‘The Cat’. Phil has entertained many sporting crowds over the years. Phil combines his 18 years of cricket experience with his subsequent career as a TV personality from ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ to ‘They Think It’s All Over’ and not forgetting cricket commentary of course – an entertaining mix!
Garry Richardson has been a broadcaster for the BBC for over 30 years. He is best known as the sports presenter on Radio Four's prestigious ‘Today’ programme. He also presents ‘Sportsweek’ on Five Live every Sunday morning. Last year he won a ‘Sony Gold’ (radio’s equivalent of an Oscar) for his Sportsweek programme. Garry's big love is performing on the after dinner circuit.
