Railtex, the International Exhibition of Railway Equipment, Systems & Services, will take place from 13 – 15 May 2025 at the NEC, Birmingham.
Renowned as the leading one-stop-shop event for the entire railway industry in the UK, Railtex brings together all rail professionals from various sectors.
The exhibition serves as a forum for attendees to discuss all aspects of infrastructure, technological innovations, digitalisation, safety, and sustainability across the entire rail supply chain.
Railtex covers all aspects of railway technology and provides a showcase for manufacturers in the major fields of rolling stock technology, track and infrastructure and signalling and communications. The exhibition also serves as a shop window for suppliers of the many other specialised products essential to the efficient and safe operation of railway and public transport systems. Among these are vehicle maintenance equipment, fare collection systems, rolling stock leasing, electronics for rail applications and cable technology.

The extensive supporting programme will provide valuable insights into future trends in railway technology and will feature a broad range of topics and sessions to address key challenges and opportunities facing the rail industry in the coming years.
Placed in the hall, one length of track will be used by exhibitors to display and demonstrate tools and equipment in an authentic rail setting. There is no better way to experience a product than to see how it sits and operates on track as it would in the field.
From 9 – 11 May 2023, over 2,600 trade visitors came to Birmingham to discover the latest innovations, products, and services from all areas of railway technology. This is a 17 % increase in visitor numbers compared to the previous event in 2022.
As the showcase event for the rail industry, Railtex 2023 welcomed 160 exhibitors from 19 countries representing the complete spectrum of the rail industry.
